Renew your car's PUC
It's like taking your car for a regular medical check-up. High emission levels mean your car needs treatment. Just make sure you take it to a service center. Not a veterinary.
Service your car regularly:
Better performance, lesser fuel consumption, reduced emissions, longer life. The list of benefits of regularly servicing your car is longer than your list of excuses for not doing so.
Not only does it help reduce air pollution, it also saves you fuel. Oh, if I were you, I would call dibs on the front seat.
Cycle more often:
You don't have to take your car out for every little thing. Buy a cycle and take it out for a spin the next time you have to buy milk. Burn calories instead of fuel.
If you're buying a second car, go for a hybrid model. Not only do they consume less fuel, they're extremely fashionable.
Install a CNG kit:
CNG is safer, cleaner, cheaper, and the most eco- friendly fuel available. If a dog is man's best friend, this is probably air's best friend. After trees, obviously.
